Through the use of media we are constantly being reminded on ways we can conserve energy and save money. One that I have found to capture quite a few peoples attention is the EECA Energy Spot commercials which give tips on what to do on all things energy related. Their website is full of helpful advice, more than just turning off the lights. It has tips for building and renovating along with insulation and heating device and appliances with the energy star mark which shows which are New Zealands most energy efficient appliances. It also has advice on what government funding is avaliable to you and reasons on why you should be concerned other than being healthier, warmer and saving money.
